The main features and benefits of Findasound Oriental Soloist 2 KONTAKT
Findasound Oriental Soloist 2 KONTAKT is a library that offers a wide range of oriental instruments and sounds, such as oud, qanun, nay, kawala, violin, accordion, trumpet, saxophone, clarinet, flute, zurna, mizmar, santoor, cello, guitar, buzuk, rababa, mandoq and more. These sounds are suitable for various genres of oriental music, such as Arabic, Turkish, Persian, Kurdish, Armenian and Balkan music.
The library has several advantages over other oriental instrument libraries, such as:
The sounds are designed to be mixed together through a four channel / sound output where the user can design, manipulate and combine sounds together to get the desired results not only for solo playing but also for unison mixed oriental instruments.
The user can select intervals of each of the four sounds separately according to scale, with the ability to control octave, volume and pan separately as well. This allows for more creative and realistic expression of oriental melodies and harmonies.
The user can select legato/mono playing mode for each sound and control the volume envelope parameters for each sound. This enables smooth and natural transitions between notes and phrases.
The user can assign effects for each sound separately from a rack that includes modulator, compressor, equalizer, filter, delay and reverb. This gives more control over the sound shaping and processing of each instrument.
The user can switch between monophonic glissando (glide) and legato glissandi (gradual notes) modes for each sound by playing low velocities for far notes. This simulates the authentic bending and sliding techniques of oriental instruments.
The user can tune the sounds to quarter tone scale and save/recall scales with key switches. This allows for accurate and easy playing of oriental scales and modes.
